About Bodyography
The concept of Bodyography was first realized in 2000. After enjoying increased success through the community, Bodyography moved toward increasing its services. In 2002, additional therapists joined the staff, enabling the practice to include Pregnancy Massage, Craniosacral Therapy and Aromatherapy techniques.
In 2003, our most recent additions included Chinese and Japanese Style Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Bodyography moved into a larger facility in 2004 and expanded its capabilities to include several esthetic services including facials, skin care, waxing treatments and make-up application, as well as Reflexology, Hot Stone Therapy and Infant Massage Instruction.
Bodyography continues it's growth and in 2006 we welcomed the practice of: Dr. Scott A. Darragh, DC, MPH of Bay State Centre Family Chiropractic.
"Our practitioners are committed to providing proven therapeutic practices to yield personalized health and wellness to the community with passion, empathy and expertise."
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage Therapy is the systematic manipulation of the soft tissues of the body to help improve an individual's health and well-being. It has therapeutic effects on the respiratory, nervous, muscular, circulatory and energy systems of the body.
The Benefits of Massage
- Relieves physical and emotional tension, promote restful sleep, increase energy levels and contribute to your continued good health.
- Recognized as an effective and natural method of relaxing muscle spasms, decreasing muscle imbalance, improving flexibility and calming the nervous system.
- Improves the circulation of blood to your muscles, which increases the flow of nutrients and elimination of metabolic toxins, relieving muscles aches and fatigues.
- Increases the circulation of the lymphatic system, thereby boosting your immune system and making you less vulnerable to illness.
