Emily attended Springfield College where she studied Physical Therapy. After graduation, Emily continued her study of anatomy and physiology at the New York College where she completed over 1600 hours of training and earned an Associate's Degree in Massage Therapy.
In addition to learning traditional Swedish Massage, Emily is also trained in Eastern Modalities including AMMA Therapy. She offers Aromatherapy and Orthopedic Massage and is certified in Hot Stone Therapy, Pregnancy Massage and Infant Massage Instruction. She is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association, is Nationally Certified and also maintains her New York State license, as well as being licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
While she loves working one on one with clients, or teaching an Infant Massage Class to new mothers, Emily also enjoys travelling off site for Corporate Chair events, Fundraising Events and local Health and Wellness fairs. Educating people about the many benefits of massage therapy is the foundation for the Wellness Center.
Emily was a Core Instructor at Healing Touch Institute in Wakefield, Massachusetts from November 2001 until December 2004 when her first son Nicholas was born. Needless to say, any non-working time she has is spent with her boys - husband Ben, Nicco and baby brother Alex!
