I am a Licensed Esthetician and a graduate of Catherine Hinds 600 Advanced Esthetics Program. I am certified in PCA Skin, Obagi Medical Products, Environ Skin care lines and Skin Medica products.
My interest in makeup began while watching my mother use an eyelash curler when I was little and I have been fascinated ever since! My best childhood friend suffered with cancer in high school and although not a hairstylist, I would help wash and style her wig. While in the corporate world, I would help friends shape their eyebrows on my lunch break and do their makeup for onstage performances. Being laid off from my corporate job after eight years changed my life's path into a career in Esthetics which I am very passionate about.
My professional cosmetics experience started while I was in school at Catherine Hinds and began working as a makeup artist and quickly moved up to Manager of a Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio in Winchester, MA. I was also the Lead Trainer for Bare Escentuals in Peabody, MA. I received a certificate on Bridal Makeup techniques from Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup and love being an important part of the bridal party's look.
When I'm not working, I love camping, teaching indoor cycling classes, and spending time with my favorite felines, Maku and Keiki.
